Lee is a Licensed Mental Health Professional specially trained in working with pregnant and postpartum women, including grief counseling for pregnancy and infant/child loss. She often referred her clients to Denver Share for support, so when Lee and her husband experienced the loss of their sweet baby at ten weeks, they knew where to find community. Only two months after their loss, Elijah, their 11-month-old son, was diagnosed with a rare form of brain cancer. Sadly, Elijah went to heaven six days before his second birthday. Lee and her husband gave birth to Nicolas two months before Elijah passed away and they are thankful that their boys got to meet.
