Bio
David has worked in the oil and gas industry for 15 years and enjoys cycling, golfing, skiing, and basketball. He and his wife lost their first child, a boy named Zahn Vance Thorpe when he was almost 4 months old, to SIDS. Denver Share gave them a safe space to grieve the loss of Zahn within a community of parents who could understand what they were feeling. They found one of the most healing steps in their grief journey was being able to talk about Zahn, sharing their hopes and fears. He is also the proud parent of two rainbow babies and continues the pursuit of raising awareness of pregnancy and infant loss through their involvement with the Denver Share board.
